We are a brotherhood of men committed to self-improvement, self-awareness, and self-actualization, specifically related to our stepping fully into our divine masculinity.
We commit to this through inspired action.
We actively engage in the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical work necessary to break old patterns that prevent us from fully stepping into our divine masculine expression.
We are a supportive brotherhood and a safe space for men who desire community of like minded men.
We commit to ONE Pod at a time. A POD is a three month period during which we meet in person, every other Tuesday 6-9 PM.
We commit to attend EVERY meeting. If we know we have a prior commitment, we let the group know at the start of the POD which meeting we will miss. We may miss up to 2 meetings, but it’s expected that we only miss because of the prior commitments. We commit to putting the meeting in our calendar. We understand that the occasional emergencies do come up. If we miss more than 2 we gracefully bow out.
If we do miss a meeting, we commit to posting a 3-5 minute video answering the prompt. We commit to submitting this video within 72 hours (Friday 9 PM EST).
We commit to participating as an accountability partner and checking in every few days with our partner during the POD.
We commit to reading the assigned book. Audio or physical book. Chapters assigned for each session. Usually 1-2 chapters every 2 weeks. We commit to come prepared to discuss.
We commit to contributing something to the potluck meal which happens at every meeting.
We commit to following the updates in the WhatsAPP chat. Checking in daily is the goal as updates come in often. We commit to following the instructions given and staying with the flow.
There are many genres of men’s work. Mythology-based men’s work, adventure-based men’s work and sexual/tantric to name a few. We endeavor to work with all of them during our journeys together. The premise is that many of us were not fully initiated into manhood. Many were not raised to be healthy men and as a result have grown up as full grown boys with deficiencies in our masculine energy. We are not here to fault our teachers, parents, society we are here to make it right. Plain and simple, to do the work. That means examining ourselves, identifying patterns of behaviors that keep us from being the folly actualized man we can be. We use educational, ceremonial and experiential activities to support this work.
Owns his behavior and seeks to constantly improve
Treats himself, nature and all beings with respect and reverence
Is aware of and is in contact with his emotions and learns from them rather than being run by them.
Expresses himself confidently and clearly
Holds humility and confidence in perfect balance
Lives a healthy lifestyle, in what he chooses to nourish himself with, by mouth and by mind.
Expresses his sexuality in a healthy and inclusive manner.
Is active and moves his body to stay in top condition so that he can effectively serve his mission
Is organized, prepared, on purpose and on fire.
Uses his divine masculine presence to serve and lead his family and community with love
If you fall short on any of these things don't worry; this is why we are doing the work. This is what we are working to be.
We have an OPEN meeting 4 times per year between PODs. All are welcome to attend. This is a good place to get to know us and to ask any questions you may have.
